Get familiar with this pair – one minimal, one extravagant

R. Seiliog – Listening to “Mt Essa” makes me feel like I’m climbing a mountain in some sort of rocky utopia.Psychedelic meets chill wave to deliver an aquatic, tribal, effervescent sound. This producer from North Wales has plainly got something good going on. Rather than rely on minimalism, he isn’t afraid to throw all he’s got into the equation. His new record In Hz releases via Turnstile on December 2nd. [promo credit – Kirsten McTernan] [soundcloud url=”https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/174364669″ /]

Dedsa – This electrorock band with some psychedelic tendencies really knows how to groove. Equal parts cutting edge and old fashioned rock and roll made up the feel of their live set, which I caught the other night. Electronic influenced rock is nothing new – the way the band accomplishes two distinct feelings at the same time is. Throw in a healthy dose of new wave too and you’ll get an even better idea of their sound. Want a more tangible idea? Watch:
