Minor Love debuts single from forthcoming release

One of the coolest aspects of writing about music is getting to hear new songs/albums before the release date. I find that really awesome. Then when it’s actually released, seeing others’ reactions is really cool. Sometimes, seeing others have the same thoughts and feelings that I do is something special. This new single by emo band Minor Love very well could be one of the singles that others fall in love with the way I did.

Over the past few years this unit from Dayton, Ohio has quickly made a name for themselves not only in their hometown but in Ohio and the Midwest as well. “When I Want” is the first single from their second full-length, Good But Not Great, which comes out May 17th. If this song is any indication, they very well may be great and not just good. This single has all the elements I loved about early 2000s emo. So if that’s your cup of tea, then this is for you.

Pre-orders for the album go live today through Acrobat Unstable.
