ON AN ON is another name that garnered much buzz at SXSW. After reading the buzz about their ethereal genre-blending, I knew it would be good. Coldrain is the band I’m going with for this, because they don’t have to transcend any language barrier even though they’re from Japan. But everyone should certainly take notice, as these guys bring it every album. At the beginning, they could’ve been considered as alternative rock, but now I think they’re more metal core.
