stone broken – revelation

This record has been unleashed as a statement and a sense of progression. Stone Broken is a band that has figured out their master-plan here, with Revelation, and their hearts are in it for the long haul. Breaking down isn’t a choice, losing the will and the pace is unthinkable, but this act stagger with their infectious output and plotlines. The story is a dark stab at the world, a chronicle of self-deprecation, and emotion. Although this is true, the music has been driven perfectly to highlight the band’s evolution.

Revelation sparks fury at times. It paints pictures of anger and repents for a prying ghost, and it underlines pain and the days of loss. The band has directed their lyricism, they’ve worked tirelessly on producing well emphasised anecdotes that make us think and feel, that make us see the world in a completely different way. after all, the band is hurting and hurling their thoughts at the disenchanted, who seek redemption and a rest.

The music is a perfect blend of rock and melody, and Revelation has the type of sound that engages instantly, connecting the listener to a dramatic, often courageous, showpiece. The album isn’t for the optimist either, but it’s a catalyst for the people feeling the strain, and the people who wish to vent. And not only does it connect musically, it breathes new life into the genre.

Black Sunrise starts the record. Beating percussion features heavily and it complements the hardened vocals and the sturdy riff. Panic sets in. Me Without You has a poppy feel, and the lyrics deal information, and they create a story. The piano sound adds diversity. This Revival blasts away the cobwebs of yesterday, pushing the music to the forefront. It’s perfectly measured, and the riff plays out in sync with the vocals. Gimme Some More is rock at its functional best, and the guitars formulate an arresting sound, with fast percussion and angry lyrics.

Stone Broken stands firm and their beliefs are relevant. Revelation is their masterstroke.
