Arm’s Length dazzle with extensive storytelling, proving that words do count in the musical landscape, and their in-depth commentary is insightful, boosting the band’s appeal. Home life is detailed through these sequences, life in general becomes a vital segment on this release. 

Never Before Seen, Never Again Found is a masterclass in songwriting, a catalyst carrying memories that were bolted to the mind but are becoming undone. Every lyric here tells us that the band is feeling the harsh winds which draw them to the inner point of their sanity, and everything’s breaking around them. 

The intelligence shown here is masterful, and the band has implemented and crafted so many powerful lines, some which can be vivid and some which are empowering. On this release, they’ve created monologues of beauty that sometimes become wrapped in an undesirable lining. There are 11 songs on this album. Object Permanence starts off calmly until the riff comes in dutifully. The soft vocals soothe and are melodic, and the lyrics describe dark dreams. 

Tough Love opens with a light-hearted riff. The lyrics convey the loss of touch and the inevitable pain of death. It’s a vivid portrayal of low moments. Muscle Memory is another sad assessment. It clicks in well, and the vocal work is soft, while the guitar tones add a wonderful contrast. It’s beautifully sombre, and it starts to unravel. 

In Loving Memory is a stab at rock. The measured riff compels, and the lyrics describe real life and a drastic childhood. It’s a bleak, intelligent, well crafted track.
