Topher Parks recommends: ROYAL BLOOD
The opening riff reminds me of something like He is Legend, with a very Southern flair to it. The blues-infested rock that follows in the verses and chorus is enough to keep any listener intrigued at the very least. The outro is solid as well. Overall, if you enjoy The Black Keys or like I mentioned before, He Is Legend, you’ll at least be able to appreciate Royal Blood’s title track from their debut EP Out of the Black.

Mø-Is a relaxed throbbing electronic bullet that will tear right into you. Her new album “No Mythologies to Follow” will surely top end of year lists. With beautiful catchy vocals layered atop scenery so awe dropping it makes Pixar take notice. Mø is an artist to keep an eye on as she takes over. Similarish to Lorde and Mr. Little Jeans.

Flatsound has three albums out, but his newest song is what really hit me. His other work is soft, fragile and emotional. It’ll definitely take you to a specific place in your life. I love that his stories sound like you’re right in the room with him as he’s singing. Kinda reminds me of The Moldy Peaches. I wonder if his newer work will reflect “you said okay” because it sounds so raw. Seriously a new favorite of mine!
