Nude Art are quietly (though with loud amplification) becoming one of the most versatile bands with a DIY mentality in the region. Fresh off opening Tightfest III, they are ready to jump out of the underground and show off their chops amongst some of the heavyweights of the Columbus scene at large. The affectionately calls their style “swamp rock” – a type that falls somewhere on the shoegaze spectrum. The band, who I’ve had the chance to catch in the now defunct Kobo (a cool dive of sorts) aren’t flashy live. Just loud and methodical. And now they’re playing Worst Kept Secret Fest.
