Amazon Music Announces: Rotation Roundtable & La Semanal Live

Amazon Music has revealed two new weekly music series: Rotation Roundtable and La Semanal Live. The former, created in partnership with Loud Speakers Network, is a hybrid Twitch livestream and podcast experience focused on hip-hop culture. It will feature a range of personalities, including Speedy Morman, Nyla Symone, Gabe P, and Rob Markman, discussing current events and questions related to contemporary hip-hop. Rotation Roundtable will stream live on Wednesdays at 9 pm EST from Amazon’s Brooklyn office and will also be available as a video and audio podcast on Amazon Music and major platforms. Nyla Symone and Gabe P will also launch Rotation Radio on Amazon’s Amp app, allowing fans to engage in real-time discussions on hip-hop and R&B culture.

La Semanal Live, named after Amazon’s new music playlist, is a Latin-pop culture focused music show hosted by Gio Rosado. The 60-minute live music show, based in Miami, will feature interviews with artists and other guests, exploring the biggest stories and releases in Latin popular culture and music. The show will also celebrate women in Latin music and feature segments on lyrical breakdowns, classic albums, Karol G, the evolution of reggaeton, fashion breakdowns, beat-making challenges, and more. La Semanal Live will air on Fridays at 9 pm EDT/6 pm PT on the Amazon Music en Vivo Channel on Twitch. The premiere episode on March 24 will feature an interview with Colombian superstar Manuel Turizo. The season finale will see Gio interviewing a surprise guest in front of a live audience of superfans. An interactive segment will allow Gio to co-curate playlists on the Amazon Music app with the Twitch community.
