Akron based band The Black Keys conjured some major numbers for Bunbury Festival’s first of three days. Friday tends to be the least attended of the three festival dates and ended up being a sell-out this year. There were 20,000 fans packed into (the venue). 2015 is the first year that the festival was managed by new owners PromoWest Productions. The admission lines were longer than usual and the vendors actually ran out of water for patrons to buy. Fortunately, the staff fixed the concerns of the concert goers and made sure they had enough water to last for the rest of the week. Friday was a day for a variety of rockers ranging from Aussie psychedelic rockers Tame Impala to hometown crowd favorite Walk The Moon. Friday also featured Bleachers, Royal Blood and Matt & Kim. Saturday took a slight twist for a more country / alternative influenced day with headliners The Avett Brothers featuring The Decembrists, Kacey Musgraves, Lindsey Stirling and Jamestown Revival to name a few. Sunday definitely had the most diverse lineup for the weekend with headliner Snoop Dogg with Columbus based alt. rockers Twenty One Pilots, Brand New and Manchester Orchestra.
