Ryan Getz’s pick: Silent Lions

Silent Lions is a two piece that pack a big punch. The duo is anchored by live drums and bass playing, but with a plethora of pedals, and synth loops used the band creates a huge sound that fills every room they play. I have no clue how they’re not better known. Any band that uses a sax in their synth loops wins points in my book. If you like electronic music, or rock, or bands that drone, or anything experimental, these guys are worth a listen. The White Stripes Silent Lions ain’t.

A pop punk band from Nashville. You can check them out on spotify or facebook or here… https://6131records.bandcamp.com/album/i-think-im-leaving
I don’t exaggerate when I say this might be one of the best pop punk albums/bands out there. They will have their breakthrough soon!
