It’s never too late to release your first EP. Indie pop project Pesky Kid has released several mixtape type projects thus far, but Benny, due July 6th, will be the project’s first proper EP. The collection features a mix of influences, from bedroom to pop-punk and beyond.

“Keys to Heaven” is the final single before the full release, and we’re excited to premier it here. The track pairs punchy 808 drums with AJR-type piano parts, falsetto-laden chorus, and a general carefree spirit. It’s a great way to prime listeners for what’s yet to come. Listen below:
